Iridium RO exercises a "good faith" practice. This means any situation that is deemed inappropriate, disrespectful or illegal, that is NOT listed on this rules list, is still subject to an Administrative decision for action. This clause also covers any loopholes found in the rules that is still deemed illegal by the GM team.

We encourage all our players to report rule breaking. However, we ask that you try to solve the issue among yourselves before reporting it to the GM team.

These rules are subject to change and will be updated as seen fit.

Spanish Rules/Reglas en español

General

Players must be able to write and understand simple Spanish and English. We do not ask for perfection, but a high enough level to be able to communicate with others. GMs will be speaking to you in both lenguages, and we expect you to translate any GM communication to your understanding.
The main language of the community is Spanish, but the game is set to English because we have people from all over the world.

The following are the core server rules. Failure to comply will result in a permanent account ban:

Do not conduct real money transactions (RMT) or trade items, accounts, services or game currency between other servers/games. This rule applies outside the game as well and will result in a permanent ban for all players involved.
- Do not joke about RMT or it will be treated as an RMT case.
Do not attempt to sell or trade your account to another player.
Items, zeny, experience, levels or pets lost in disconnections or due to bugs will not be replaced.
No kill stealing. Please note that in the case of someone using Basilica on an MVP monster in order to interrupt a battle, this is considered an act of kill stealing, abuse of game mechanics, and physical harassment, and will not be taken lightly.
Do not spam text, trades or skills in towns or in the Market Place. Using creation skills in towns is allowed, but try to stay away from the center of the town.
Do not automate game-play. This includes and is not limited to using third-party tools and macro software, or placing a weight on your keyboard to press keys for you. Any use of auto-teleport scripts, auto-feeders, auto-pots, auto-farming scripts and similar is strictly prohibited.
Do not impersonate GMs. This includes inappropriate use of homunculus and pet names.
Do not make statements for a GM. You must never misinform players by pretending a GM said something.
Do not advertise other servers. Talking about official servers is allowed, but actively promoting them is not.
Do not exploit bugs. Report them immediately to any GM through the forum or directly via the game or Iridium Discord.
Do not assist or tolerate rule breaking activities. Anybody caught not reporting a known rule-breaker will receive the same punishment as the offending player.
Any chargebacks on Iridium Coin purchases via Paypal or Western Union will result in account suspension.
- If you wish to return your account to good standing, you must cancel the chargeback if the case has not yet been
  decided, or re-send the original payment for the Iridium Coins you received.

Failure to comply to any other rules will result in the appropriate punishment, which may or may not include a permanent ban.

Do not scam other players. Stealing items from others or keeping borrowed gears may result in a permanent ban.
- You are encouraged to report players who scam you in a player report.
- Account sharing is discouraged and you are fully responsible for the actions of whoever is playing on your
  account.
- Lending of items or zeny to other players is done at your own risk.
- In all cases, the disputed items and characters will be permanently lost and not returned.
Do not grief other players. This applies to PvM, PvE, PvP and social interactions.
Be respectful. This goes towards players, staff, the server, other people's opinions, etc. You are allowed to argue for yourself, but please stay respectful while doing so.
Punishment and conflict resolution is to be kept private between the sanctioned player and the GM team.
Punishments are subject to the staff's discretion. Any form of questioning after the staff has come to a resolution from either the sanctioned or a third party can result in a punishment.
Rules are not limited to those written here. Just because it is not specifically mentioned does not mean it is allowed. Please use common sense.

Social

Prontera are Spanish and English only zones. Each language will have its own channel, including English, leaving #main as the Spanish channel.
Insulting, racism, sexism, discrimination, excessive swearing or any other offending comments can result in punishment. This applies to all chats, including #main, and shop names.
Do not use inappropriate names for your character. The same applies for your pet name, homunculus name, party name, guild name/title and its emblem.
Do not beg for items or zeny from players or GMs. Asking for help is alright, but flat out asking for items or zeny is not.
Do not impersonate other players or in other ways attempt to assume their identity.
Do not harass other players. Harassment is defined as unwanted attention including repeated messaging, stalking, blackmail, and related behavior.
Do not trade or send friend requests on PvP and WoE maps.
Do not spam any of the channels just in #spam.
Do not converse about politics, religion or explicit sexual topics on any of the channels.
Do not discuss or engage in a conversation about other private servers in public.
Use the appropriate channels:
- #main: For casual talk.
- #trade: If you are buying or selling items. Do not send fake messages and sell items you don't own.
- #lfg: If you are looking for a party, group or guild.
- #support: If you require help. Joking or trolling is not allowed in #support.
- #portuguese/#english/#руccкий/etc.: Use the correct language for each.
Do not set absurd prices to reserve your vending spot.
Do not vend outside of the Market Place.
Do not set up ANY Tradechats outside of the Market Place (ex.: BRB T>GR 4Zeny/HB L/N/O).
False Advertising/Scamming (i.e. "CLIP[2]" and only having Clip[1] for sale) will not be tolerated.
Market Place NPC's are located in the main towns (i.e. Prontera, Payon and Rachel)
You are allowed to open a chatroom anywhere, except for these restrictions:
- Do not open a chat in the middle of Prontera.
- Do not block the visibility of a NPC or a portal. You will be kicked.
- Do not open a shop near the spawn points of towns. You will be kicked.

Battleground

Do not dual-client in Battlegrounds.
Do not AFK in Battlegrounds.
Do not grief in Battlegrounds, such as by losing matches on purpose.
Do not sell "carry services" for Battlegrounds.

Player Killing Rules

Harassment PK: When a Character is killed 5 (five) times in succession by the same opposing Character within a 10 minute time-frame. To prove this in reports, you must include minimum 5 (five) screenshots with the cursor over the character who PK'd you showing their name. Any Player level 175+ cannot report for Harassment PK. Screenshots that are edited in ANY way are invalid for any report.
No Resurrection killing will be tolerated. This includes getting Resurrected by one Character and PK'd by another. The time limit between Resurrection and getting killed by a player is 30 seconds.
Using Novices to help in Community Quests (i.e. Godly Quests), abusing the fact that they can not be attacked, will not be tolerated.

WarZone

A WarZone is a PvP map that has no PvP rules on it. Anything PvP-wise goes and reports involving these maps are invalid.
WarZones:
- PvP Rooms.
- Muka field (moc_fild18).

Dead Branch and Bloody Branch

Do not use any Dead Branches or Bloody Branches in the same screen as an NPC.
If a Player dies while DB/BB, the monsters become FFA (Free For All). This includes MvPs.
FFA = Free For All. A monster that is described as FFA is free for any player to take. MvPs that spawn naturally (not from BB or MVP Arena) are considered FFA.

MvP Room]

Do not loot or kill steal in the MvP arena.
Move your MvP out of the center once you summon so that others may summon. This prevents MvP's crossing paths and accusations of kill stealing.
Do not summon multiple MvP's. One MvP per person.
Do not go AFK in the arena or join the MvP arena if you are not there to summon. The MvP arena is for summoners only. Those who idle will be removed.
If you die or leave the arena after a summon and it still lives, the MvP no longer becomes yours. The MvP will belong to the first player who wishes to claim it. You can politely asked that the MvP be returned to you if it is still alive if you come back, however taking it by force would be an act of kill stealing.

PvE

Concerning Thanatos Tower's last level, there are 5 seals in the map. In case of disagreements as to who has the right to kill the Thanatos MvP, the party with the most seals broken are the legitimate owners. Also by seals we meant the Seals of Agony, Hatred, Sorrow, Despair and the Seal of Thanatos itself.
Do not use skills to hinder others from participating in killing an MvP or otherwise playing the game as intended. Here are a few common examples:
- Do not use Warp Portal to attempt to warp players away.
- Using Basilica on an MVP monster in order to interrupt a battle, this is considered an act of kill stealing, abuse of game mechanics, and physical harassment, and will not be taken lightly.
Do not hit monsters that belong to another player (kill-stealing). A monster belongs to another player if it is attacking or following him.
- MvPs are excluded from this rule.
- Seasonal event mobs are free-for-all.
- GM hosted events are free-for-all, unless stated otherwise by the GM.
- Homunculus must also follow these rules. Make sure it is not set to KS mode.
Do not "hoard" monsters. If you choose to lure a large amount of monsters, you must kill them within a reasonable amount of time.
Do not drop monsters on other players. This rule applies even if the player is AFK.
Do not farm while being AFK (this includes macros, using reflect gears, etc). You must be actively interacting with the game while farming.
- By being AFK, we also imply alt-tabbing to watch a movie, playing on another client, chatting with someone else, etc.
- Auto-attacking punching bags or using homunculus to circumvent the idle timer is considered AFK farming, and is not allowed.
Do not loot items that do not belong to you. This rule does not apply for MvP loot; please use @autoloot to prevent other players from grabbing your items.
- Loot becomes free-for-all once the player has left the visible area.
- Homunculus loot belongs to the homunculus owner.

Game-File Modification

Do not automate game-play. Using third-party and macro software is strictly prohibited, as is placing a weight on your keyboard to press keys for you. This includes and is not limited to installing auto-teleport scripts, auto-feeders, auto-pots and auto-farming scripts. Players who automatize tasks in any such way will be permanently banned.
- If you notice another player using third-party tools, please report it immediately to an online GM in game or on Discord. Do not broadcast your findings or suspicions in public, such as over the #main channel.
- Should no GMs be available, submit a player report and include as many details as possible (such as map name, class or skills cast). Replays containing this information are appreciated but not required for us to begin investigating the case. The sooner you submit your report, the faster we can act.
Do not modify your game client.
Do not modify your game files. Any modification that gives you an unfair advantage is not allowed (e.g. altering sprites to reduce skill delays).
- The IridiumRO Team does not endorse GRF editing nor do we offer support for it, as such edits can damage your game installation.

IridiumRO’s End User License Agreement

IridiumRO will provide a free Ragnarok Online gaming experience under strict conditions. Downloading the game through the official IridiumRO website entails that you are accepting the conditions written below.

Legal Obligations
You agree that IridiumRO Network and its staff are not obligated to take part in any legal activity or action for or against you, through utilization of our services. You agree to not download our patch and/or connect to our servers if condemned by Gravity Corp. You are agreeing that IridiumRO may take the relevant actions (punishment, temporary or permanent expulsions) described in these rules, according to the offenses committed.

Ownership of account.
Every person registered on IridiumRO has the right to create an account, characters, make donations, et al within the scope of a player (The administrators reserve the right to determine this scope with impunity). The IridiumRO staff reserves the rights to cease an account with proven reason/endorsement. The safe keeping of the player’s accounts is purely the responsibility of the corresponding owner. Game Masters are not obligated to restore any stolen items which were lost due to the player’s failure to protect their account or through technical issues/bugs, as mentioned in the server rules.

Code of conduct.
The players agree to unconditionally comply with the posted server rules. If the player violates any rule knowingly or otherwise, it implies that they are willing to accept the corresponding punishment. Denial and failure to co-operate with the judicial procedure will result in more severe punishments upon discovery.

No excuse Police:
As a player of IridiumRO, you agree to comply with the rules and conditions established in any of our official documents, automatically and unconditionally accept the corresponding material. This is recognizable as voluntary and legal statement and you have full legal responsibility, specifically for your ability to familiarize yourself with this document.
Personal:
As an IridiumRO player, you agree to comply with all the requirements expressed by the Staff team. The IridiumRO Staff will do everything possible to maintain order and ensure proper compliance with the rules.

Donations:
The server accepts all donations are made voluntarily. Before donating the player must review and understand the donation policies and conditions, at the end of the donations process, it means, that the person agrees with this policy, as well ass donation policy, it depends on their ability to interpret and/or understand these documents. If you are disagreed, please refrain from donating.

Privacy Statement:
IridiumRO will not reveal any information provided by players to third parties. The use of account information among Staff is acceptable. IridiumRO Staff reserves the right to follow players into the game with undetectable methods; also have the right to record the player’s behavior and chat history with the correct reasons.

Always remember, if you're not sure if something is against the rules, there's a good chance it is. Always PM a GM if you are never sure if what you want to do is illegal or not. Common sense is your friend, as is the advice of other players.
